In 2009, I opened the Walkway of Journalists in Vidradnyi park on Heroes of Sevastopol street.
Since November 20, being on the same side from the camera lenses, we along with the journalists expended some effort to make our city more beautiful by planting the nursery plants of different species of trees: chestnuts with bright red flowers, white magnolias, Pissardi plum trees. All of them were kindly provided by the Kiev Botanical Garden named after Academician Alexander Fomin. But many journalists chose to plant chestnuts — they are the symbol of the city after all.
About twenty new trees were planted in the park in total, one of which was planted by me. Each tree was named after the channel, magazine or newspaper which representatives planted it.

The “Walkway of Journalists” itself is located in the center of the park and begins with the statuary group in the form of a hand that is holding the microphone.
I sincerely believe that this was a great initiative.
THE RICH PAY FOR THE POOR
Wasn't fulfilled due to the lack of adequate regulatory framework at the state level
I wanted to implement a project according to which in Kiev - the city which is home to at least 20% of very rich people - this very category of citizens incurred the bulk of expenses in terms of payment for utility services through differentiation of rates.
KIEV RACEСOURSE BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE
I decided to breathe a new life into the Kiev racecourse to regain its honour to the city and the entire country.
In order to save the budget and reduce the costs for the bureaucratic machine, I decided to organize a car auction to sell vehicles owned by Municipal Enterprise “Motor Transport Enterprise of the Kiev City Council.”
NURSING HOME "THE BEST HOME"
On December 25, 2008, pursuant to the Decision of the Kiev City Council, a municipal enterprise "Best Home" was created.
