On 16 May 2012, Kiev Administrative Appeal Court dismissed the appeal of Vitali Klitschko to Kiev Mayor Chernovetskiy
Klitschko sued the Kiev Mayor Chernovetskiy accusing him of failure to report to the Kiev district community about his actions. Kiev’s District Administrative Court dismissed Klitschko’s lawsuit.
Disagreeing with the decision of the first instance court, the plaintiff filed an appeal asking to revoke the ruling of the first instance court.
Having carefully reviewed the case files, the judges of the appeal court concluded that the first instance court has made correct finding, examined the available evidence, assessed them properly and made a legal and valid decision, complying with all the provisions of substantive and procedural law, saying there was no reason to revoke the original ruling.
Thus, the appeal of Klitschko has been dismissed, and the ruling of the Kiev District Court remains in force.
